News of Britain

'News of Britain' was exhibited at the 198 Contemporary Arts & Learning Gallery, Brixton. The open submission theme was created by Afropunk to respond to Black British resistance - past, present and future. For my piece I wanted to create news that should have been written about - which would have shaped the perception of minorities a little differently. I created 'News of Britain' to show if news written about Black-British histories were written fairly in the media, how the nation would be universally open and understanding to struggles minorities have faced in the UK.
