Norwegian Presence

In April 2018, the designers, makers and manufacturers of Norway return to Milan Design Week with a new concept and a new location. Exhibiting at Zona Tortona for the first time, Norwegian Presence builds on the success of previous years’ shows  – Everything is Connected (2017), Structure (2016) and Norwegian Presence (2015) – to present the international design community with exceptional and boundary-breaking furniture and products from Norway’s most talented designers and accomplished manufacturers. Planned to be the first in a three-year series of shows, the 2018 exhibition focuses on the values of quality, sustainability, fellowship and community, and explores how these inform and shape the character of Norwegian design today. Norwegian Presence is a collaborative project of Design and Architecture Norway (DOGA), the Norwegian designers union Klubben and campaigning craft organisation Norwegian Crafts. The project is supported by the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Innovation Norway and the Federation of Norwegian Industries.

WHAT WE DO FOR NORWEGIAN PRESENCE

After working on the publicity campaigns for both Everything is Connected and Structure, we were thrilled to be invited to participate in Norway’s Milan contribution for the third year running, helping DOGA, Klubben and Norwegian Crafts open a new and exciting chapter in the story of Norwegian design. We’re working with the organisers, designers and manufacturers to make this year’s exhibition one of the highlights of the 2018 Salone, helping steer publicity and social media throughout the event and beyond.
