Nourishment//Greed

A useful/useless recipe book based on the scenes of greed & nourishment in the Japanese film, Spirited Away. The zine is split into two halves and runs backwards & forwards, eluding to the duality of themes in the film. The Nourishment side represents the scenes in Spirited Away in which food is used to nurture and show love. The Greed side represents the scenes in which food is used to show gluttony and temptation. The recipes are tongue in cheek and match the tone of the film, inspired by 1950s cookery books and imagery.
