Branding, UI & UX design for Novellic, an app for book clubs available to download from the iOS store. The design challenge was to come up with a UX that was intuitive and visually appealing despite a rich product feature set. Given the limited real estate on a mobile phone screen, maintaining a clean, clear branded experience throughout the user’s journey from onboarding to book club and book discovery through to the full utilization of the book club tools such as voting on what to read next and planning an offline meetup.
The clients had designed the app features based on book club research and case studies, and my role was to develop the brand fully as well as design and implement the UX and UI for iOS.
