Internal competition entry to design the branding for the 2015 Degree Shows at Norwich University of the Arts. 2015 marked 170 years of NUA and therefore our identity had to be memorable. This was a collaboration project with myself and Evie Wright.
University is a life changing experience and you learn skills and have experience's that will stay with you long after you leave. The time spent studying at NUA leaves an impression on the student and the student in turn leaves an impression on the university itself.
Our idea was based around the idea of 'impression' and the skills that you learn through your experiences at university and that will stay with you for life. Creating hand made stamps that symbolise the mark the university and the graduates leave on each other became the visual identity for our project. The identity was used for the Degree show invitations, posters and flyers. The Invitation used a variety of printing techniques to enforce our message, de-bossing the word 'Impression' out of the invite re-enforced the meaning of the word itself.
