During my final year at university I studied Fashion Promotion and decided that I'd like to move into Graphics, so I designed, styled and provided all the content for a menswear magazine targeted at a market that hadn't been approached by publishing, despite how heavily they are pursued by the luxury sector. Due to China’s economic growth drastically slowing down, buyers from Asian countries are investing heavily in the international property market and moving overseas. The UK is now home to 466,000 British Chinese, mostly descending from former British colonies. NUMBER8 is a luxury fashion, lifestyle and culture magazine aimed at a British-Asian male audience that focuses on style and composition that embraces international ideals. It will be available in English in print as well as Mandarin and Cantonese on tablet.
