This series of posters advertise places around New York City, and primarily aimed at tourists. The scale of the buildings, the architecture and the hustle and bustle of the city is breathtaking. The triangles are inspired by the shape of the Flatiron Building which sits on a triangular island-block formed by Fifth Avenue, Broadway and East 22nd Street. The rectangles represent the shape of Central Park. When you look at a map of Manhattan the large area covered by Central Park is a delightful contrast to the grids created by the city streets.
