Oddball(s) Magazine is a collaborative project I did for my MA Publishing course in collaboration with MA Design and Cultural Management. We had to create a magazine from scratch and we were entirely in charge of every aspect of the production. We each had different roles baesd on our strengths and interests. I had the opportunity of being the Production Manager because I wanted to have the opportunity to learn more about printing techniques and paper. The role also entailed being in charge of the allocated budget. I had to make sure the costs involved would have not exceeded the budget and liaise with the printing department in order to understand which methods would have worked best for our objectives. Moreover, I wrote a couple of articles for the magazine and helped with some of the editing.
It was a great opportunity to work as a team and to create something we were passionate about. This project has given me incredible insight on magazine production and project management.
