I created a book containing the "offcuts" of Brighton. The imagery included photos of things that would usually be overlooked, such as torn down posters and cracks in walls. I chose to celebrate these things as I believe it is the small things like this that have the most beauty. I also collected various handouts that are usually discarded, followed by screen printing over them, using them as tippins. I then hand bound the book using a Japanese stab sew binding technique, placing the book in a Swiss Bound hardcover, with the word "offcuts" foiled into the front.
