Olimpia
Illustration I did for privesteorasul.com, a local cultural campaign made in Timisoara / Romania. I created an anthropomorphized character representing Olimpia, the oldest sports hall in my hometown.
The project aims to encourage exploring the different neighborhoods of the city, each with its own flavors and particularities. On that account me and other 4 illustrators each chose a key location and drew a representation of it.
Olimpia Sports Hall (Sala Olimpia) was built in 1968, and was a big landmark during the communist era, being the main local arena for indoor sports like basketball, handball, volleyball and bodybuilding championships.
