Made of young professionals from Sicily, the orchestra has worked together with regional and national institutions and organisations, earning great success among the public and the critics. The repertoire goes from ancient to contemporary music, with a focus on musical score, jazz, pop and opera.
The logo wants to convey the freshness and the bond with the musicians’ roots: the key-word is “Mediterranea” and the vivid colours remind of Sicilian flavours and smells, like the sea and the citrus ones.
