Organised Chaos

This piece of punch-needle embroidery I called Organised Chaos. It was made to feature in a group exhibition hosted by Bleur, an art collective based in south London. The inner part is how you might feel while stuck in the quarter-life crisis phase, and the outer part could be what you might feel after taking steps to get yourself out and moving forward again. Its made with cotton thread sewn into linen, then glued and backed with hand-stitched cotton. For the exhibition it featured in I also attached two metal hooks. This is the first piece I imagined for this project and I am really happy with how it turned out!
