ORIGAM COFFEE TABLE
When I conceived the table Origam my intention was to explore formal possibilites using as resource only an steel plate. By that, I was pursuing a sintetic, fluid and esculptural result.
The table is formed by tree pairs of identical triangles welded as if they were simply bent, just like a japanese origami.
The first choice for the rusty coating was to evidence the material’s natural aesthetics. However, I also worked in a red colored option.
It’s been marketed by a high end design furniture store in São Paulo.
