Always and Sister Brand Tampax Join Forces to Redefine and Establish the Difference between Luxury and Necessity in New #TamTax Campaign
LONDON – November 5, 2016 – Today, in celebration of the weeks to come of Christmas, Always, the leader in global feminine care have joined sister brand Tampax, in combating the ludicrous 5% tax placed on feminine hygiene care.
In keeping with Always’ brands ‘Confidence’ and ‘Stronger Together’ stance in society, both brands Always and Tampax have co-joined for the biggest campaign yet. Redefining the difference between luxury and necessity with a satirical tone of voice. The brands will continue their effort to work on its mission to empower and build girls self-confidence, however, the campaign has ignited a broader message and audience, which is to shift focus on women’s equality, as additional taxation is not only added onto women’s feminine hygiene products deemed luxury, but also furthered on otherwise gender targeted items i.e. plain jumpers or t-shirts.
