Painting Out The Imperfections.

  • Vermillion Wolf

An A2 piece which I've painted with makeup for this piece to reflect and to point out the insecurities of how most women/men are judged by their appearance because of the society through the influence of the media etc but lack the self-confidence to which they slaver makeup on to hide their natural beauty when they should be loving there own unique selves and not having to hide there misjudged imperfections when in fact nobody is perfect and you shouldn't have to hide who you really are for others to accept you or like you as you are beautiful/handsome just the way you are. But to note this is not against anyone who chooses to wear makeup to enhance their looks but for those who suffer on a daily basis with confidence issues who repeatedly apply layers of makeup as a daily routine because they hate or are worried about the people around them excepting them without it etc which they wouldn't be if the media was more accepting of how we naturally look and that all shapes and sizes, freckles and so much more are still beautiful! I hope to help with the prevention of suicide with this piece and help those who suffer believe in themselves more.
