Pantone wanted a collection of postcards representing famous icons over the past 50 years to celebrate this milestone. The brief called for only two colours per postcard, a simple design with basic text and graphics.
I wanted to create a subtle reference to iconic people through phrases or references that people would instantly recognise. One of Frank Sinatra’s most well-known songs with an illustration of his favourite drink started off the creative inspiration.
