I was inspired by the way objects cast shadows that dance along the walls, using handmade techniques, I created an event poster and album cover for Parov Stelar — an electric swing DJ. To create my final concept I used a scalpel to cut out silhouettes of swing dancers from black card, with additional details also cut out. I then hung them and cast light through and around the cut-outs, creating energy and a sense of movement from the shadows.
