Join The–Dots

Personal Investigation for Pre-U: To what extent does the work of Richard Rogers coincide with the ethos of 14th century Renaissance architecture? (Completed 2014)

Comparison and contrast to Rogers' contemporary works such as Lloyds of London, Terminal 5 and O2/ Millennium Dome in relation to Florence's Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore and Uffizi. Interviews with Chairman of Lloyds and staff of Terminal 5, discovering their views on the aesthetics and practicality of the buildings. Questioning the ability of these buildings to support the Humanist concerns of the 14th C. in a contemporary environment.
