PG Tips (Podcast) - UAL Post-Grad Community

  • Yulin Huang

The PG Tips Podcast is an open and safe space for students in the Post-Grad Community at UAL to share their work/research interests whilst potentially offering some Tips for current and prospective students. The podcast was started by me and aims to: - alleviate anxieties and inspire ideas from hearing about the guest’s still developing practice(s) and experiences in the university - provide a fun, casual audio space to listen in on as I interview the guest; almost as a conversation through networking with their contacts readily available - present a way in for students who have found it difficult to find new connections (especially in the pandemic and being stuck overseas) - promote the guest’s work and research for potential opportunities and collaborations - give an honest insight into the guest’s experience of their course within UAL for prospective students . The project is entirely organised by me as part of the UAL Post-Grad Community Conversations; from scouting, arranging times, hosting/interviewing, recording, audio/transcript editing, social media promoting and article writing for each episode.
