Although not a professional portfolio website with just my name in the URL, I feel for now that Tumblr is a perfect alternative.
Tumblr allows me to practice my creativity by editing the website design. My skills/knowledge is basic, however by using Tumblr I am learning about HTML and CCS codes. When choosing a layout, or "theme", I often opt for simple, minimalist themes in which I can then customise myself as much as I want. I love researching what I can do to the HTML of the theme, so that I can express my personality to whoever visits my tumblr.
Another feature I am extremely fond of is the redirection pages. On the sidebar of my Tumblr, I have a contents page. On this I have filtered my posts into specific categories. I do this by putting a specific tag on the photos when posting. By clicking on a category on the contents page, you are then lead to view every photo with that specific tag on it. These vary from photos of people, to photos of my food, to photos of places I've been to. I feel that this feature gives me good organisation practice for when I am able to curate a professional portfolio website.
Displayed below are some of the photos that are on my website.
