I have a Masters degree in Art History, but I always thought that you cannot truly understand something unless you are able to do it yourself. That's why I paint. Or maybe it's the opposite and I studied art because I have no memory of me without a pencil or brush in hand. I love art and I admire the contemporary one for that witty idea that -at times- is at the basis of a creation. But I blame this same art for the lack -at times- of techical skill. In my personal research I aim to combine these two essential qualities: idea and technique. Along this path I like to wink at the works of the masters in order to update their immortal art.
