Portraits

As is evident from the title, this series of images is all about faces. The collection comprises portraits of some of my favourite music artists, myself, family, and an artificial intelligence being I created for a university project. Each illustration was created using Procreate on my iPad, except for 'Happy Ye', which was made in Adobe Illustrator. For each illustration, I searched for an existing photograph to use as a reference and then picked the colours and style I wanted to use based on the composition and mood of the original image. For example, the red image of myself displays a distressing mood because of the expression of my face and actions I'm making, so I felt the appropriate colour palette would be shades of red.
