One of my biggest projects was working for one of the university's most exciting events of the year: The Summer Ball. As a Social Media Coordinator I had to arrange filming and photoshootings with students on the day of the event, edit and tailor footage on the same day as to post snaps of the video on our instagram stories, and create a buzz for our upcoming Summer Ball video.
The video content taken on the day was used to create this Post-Summer Ball video which was used on our feed the week after the event as a #ThrowbackThursday post. The strategy implemented behind it, was meant to raise the numbers of our impressions on Instagram, as well as hit more numbers of profile visits and finally aproach our targeted audience, which would be prospective students.
The build up to this post included a lot of other posts on our Instagram stories as well as our Snapchat feed which was scheduled in through Hootsuite to go out on the day of the event. The video ended up belonging to one of our highest-ranked videos in our feed.
