This project is a Poster for an art exhibition called "Shroud" by Gheorghe Ilea- a painting exhibition with over 50 artworks.
The central theme in his exhibition are the traditional hand-made clothes that we have inherited from our, dear ones during with time. The context: Transylvania - where the clothes, a few decades ago, where made manually and were representing the pride and fortune - a precious gift to others.
But, the exhibition is beyond that - the painted took some old clothes he had from their dear ones, he painted them and after that we realised is not about those clothes is about the feeling that gives you.
For the main poster, I chose an image "The cloak III" - which created a great contrast with the white typography. The title is broken suggestive in three parts - and be reverse as Strong in clothes. The other information keeps a clean hierarchy.
We are active in clothes because of the feelings that we have when we wear them.
