SELF-DEVELOPED PRINT POSTER INSPIRED BY RUSSIAN AVANT-GARDE

Personally, I adore this period of art and always find my inspiration within the movement. 2018 celebrated 100 years of Avant-Garde. As a self-initiated project, I though of creating a poster which would take the Avant-Garde style as a foundation, at the same time giving it a more modern look.

Idea for the poster came from the famous painting by Kazimir Malevich THE REAPERS, 1929. The reaper represents the working class, hard labour and little money. Poster says: «How to subsist on subsistence level?» - which is a play of words - it is brave and memorising statement, and to some extant does mirror what happens in Russia.
