This project consists of Silkscreen printed tile designs inspired by a recent holiday to Florence, Italy. I developed my drawings through the use of sketchbooks and computer programmes like Adobe Illustrator, and then screen printed them onto cotton and linen fabrics. I have used a vibrant colour palette to capture the bright colours associated with Mediterranean seaside towns, particularly Cinque Terre. The context of this collection is tableware, in which I researched Al Fresco dining.
