PRIVATE HOUSE SALE - CASE STUDY

When we where ready to sell our home, we made the decision to sell privately. We put our target price a bit higher just in case we had to negotiate more than expected.

We estimated that we saved well over $12.000 by not employing a real estate agent.

I photographed interior and exterior images in HDR, designed the sign and the handout brochure, measured and drew the floor plan and made a responsive web-site to work on desktops, pads and smart phones a like.

All printed material had a QR Code for easy access to the web-site and more details and information than we could have put on there.

I also put the house up on realestate.com.au and domain.com.au, organised the home-opens and my wive and I made the house very presentable, brewing fresh coffee, soft music, slideshows of the house running on TVs and computers and lots of flowers and candles.

I negotiated with all potential buyers and we where able to sell the house in a shorter time frame than expected for a much higher price than we where told by real estate agents.
