Prounounced oneseventeen

Harvey Whyte is a 25 year old music artist/producer/writer/rapper/musician/pianist who was born in Homerton and raised in Hackney. Growing up and living in the area has provided Harvey with an amazing diverse melting pot of musical influences - predominantly a blend of urban, R’n’B, hip-hop, rap, neo-soul with touches of grime, jazz, disco, funk, garage, house and electronic. I was recently commissioned to create a brand for 117 (oneseventeen) a record label to give Harvey and other artists a platform to release their music. The brief leaned towards being minimal and architectural. The name/number 117 comes from the studio door number, the date he moved into the studio, January 17, and seventeen also happens to be Harvey’s favourite number and his birthday, plus he really likes prime numbers!
