PUBLIC ART SCULPTURE AND WINDOW DISPLAYS

BIG HOOT IPSWICH ART TRAIL – WINDOW DISPLAY ILLUSTRATIONS AND SCULPTURE I was commissioned as one of 50+ artists to paint a large owl sculpture for the Big Hoot Ipswich Art Trail (https://thebighoot.co.uk/) taking place June-Sept 2022. My sculpture sponsor Coes (https://www.instagram.com/coes_stores/) then used my matching sculpture illustrations to decorate their shop windows for Summer. The project fee for the window displays has been donated to St Elizabeth Hospice (https://www.stelizabethhospice.org.uk/support-us/make-a-donation/) More about the art trail: St Elizabeth Hospice @stelizabethhospice (https://www.stelizabethhospice.org.uk/support-us/make-a-donation/) and Wild in Art @wildinart (https://www.wildinart.co.uk/) produced the trail for Ipswich to raise valuable, much-needed funds for St Elizabeth Hospice services providing care and support for those living with life-limiting or progressive illnesses. Funds are raised through visitors downloading the trail app (https://thebighoot.co.uk/app/) , and purchasing merchandise. There will also be an auction of all owls at the end of the trail. There are 50 Big Hoots and 65 Little Hoots in all. The trail also attracts thousands of visitors to Ipswich and contributes financial benefits to the local economy.
