Pulse attracts and serves the needs of thousands of retailers year on year.
Current trends show that retailers today are buying little and often, thus making Pulse the perfect opportunity to source brand new products from a mix of established brands and up-and-coming designer makers at London’s only summer design-led gift event.
"First Peek” was the theme of Pulse 2014, providing retailers with the opportunity to be the first to discover never-before-seen products, future trends and the latest market insight to make their store stand out.
Hu+ represented 4 Hungarian designers to help them reach markets outside Hungary. The selection of products we were showcasing for the first time at Pulse was a mixture of designs with a focus on simplicity and a clean modernist aesthetic.
Much of the collection drew on eastern influences from origami and kirigami to 'raku' firing technique originating from Japan.
The slogan of our exhibition at Pulse was 'moulding and folding'.
