R for Rainbow

  • Shaikh AlBashir

“R for Rainbow” was created during the 1st Lockdown period of the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020 , in a collaboration with my two years old daughter Sarah. Since all the outdoor activities were restricted Sarah replaced them with some extra freedom of making her version of graffiti all over the interior wall . Meanwhile, I kept myself busy photographing her daily activities, and finally, by placing those images into her scrabble drawing I tried to reinvent a juxtaposition where art and emotion clinch each other. The entire project is a therapeutic process to sustain resilience in such a confined situation.
