The campaign concept rallies people around the notion of Out of Office, encouraging people to set an “out of office” message on the day of the climate strike as a simple action we can each take that has a potentially significant collective impact. The average office worker receives 121 emails a day (source: DMR). That means if just 30,000 people set a climate OOO message on September 20 it would reach nearly four million people in one day – one of the biggest direct messages on climate change ever.
