RAPT + HELD is a collection of handmade clothing for children, designed and produced by Toronto-based maker, Logan Wilson. Easy to wear pieces marry the playful sophistication of African Dutch wax textiles with clean Japanese lines.
Logan’s inspiration for the brand name and look and feel all stem from a pair of hands. The hands that hold a child, comfort them and that make their clothes with care and attention to detail.
I sketched out several concepts that represented the spirit and connection of the label, which eventually led to a hand lettered rendition with a hint of a cheeky smile.
