RAW identity


RAW Natural Pets, to quote the full business name, was set up primarily to provide access to raw pet feed as well as dog toys and treats and offer guidance and advice on what’s best for your pet when dog-loving husband and wife Richard and Rachel spotted a gap in the local market when it came to very limited availability of raw pet food.

Of course, when it comes to selling a product that people are unfamiliar with exposure and education are paramount to success, which is why they turned to me to help their business grow.

With their core market being canine-related products I had envisaged using a paw print element early on in the process but took care to avoid ending up with something kitsch as the products they stock are from high quality, respected brands. They were keen when I proposed the concept of being able to use the core of the identity as a stamp on their packaging and stationery, which inspired the weathering of the logo. A handful of trade shows and many satisfied customers later they've really embraced living their brand and I couldn't be happier with that!
