Recognize Stroke

The key symptoms of stroke which can be observed by others are face asymmetry, arms weakness and speech difficulties. We wanted people to see from the first sight what is “wrong” with a person if she has a stroke. So, we thought about some still human-like objects that can be altered with symptoms to give immediate visual impression that something is not right. We ‘revived’ the most popular Ukrainian monuments so they could demonstrate the first symptoms of stroke. Monuments with hands lifted down and asymmetric faces. Monument that were reciting poems and letters in unclear mumbling and playing dizziness and disorientation. All top national TV channels broadcasted the event in prime time evening news.
