Company Golley Slater The Campaign The British Army launched a recruitment drive aimed at young adults by illustrating how a military career is built around unique experiences, opportunities and achievements. The campaign was intended to entice potential applicants seeing the Army as an exciting place they can not only develop practical skills for life, but have an incredible adventure at the same time. It came as the military sought new ways of bringing in recruits following a shortfall in personnel. A series of emotional ads were produced highlighting the differences between a military and a civilian career by displaying a portrait, name and rank of an officer with a number of personal anecdotes in relation to their career in the Army. My Role As graphic designer, I created and developed visuals for multiple marketing assets to resonate with the target audience within the current brand guidelines. This included layout design and mechanically building the artwork files.
