In this work I have regenerated the photographs found in my family’s album. My interest in appropriation and paper art for quite some time has led to me combining the two to emphasise the family thread and connections.
The featured images are a selection of snapshots, school photographs and studio images taken from key events typically found in the family album. The subjects reflect one another showing their similarities, crossing generations and genders to create an entirely new persona.
