Best Humour Website 2021 - The Webby Awards Refundmyshitdate.com was a PR activation to launch the single ‘Where Are All The Boys?” by Alexina. The track is about hopeless dating and the fickle, transactional nature of modern day romance. So we decided to compensate one lucky person who had such a terrible date by reimbursing them back the cost of the date. The site quickly went viral as we had people round the world telling us their stories (600+ entries and 50k in wasted date money), creating a huge online anonymous gallery where we all could revel in the embarrassment of all our joint date experiences. We were approached by VICE and Hunger Magazine to talk about it, and then mentioned on Loose Women and even featured by the Sun and Metro. We were two women who’s aim was to ‘right the wrongs’ of modern dating.
