Representation Of Unconventional Beauties

I wanted to create a body of work that showcased unconventional beauty. I think we see a lot of models that are included in being labelled as 'unconventional' out of fascination which is okay but at the same time there isn't a space for the people who are in between. It's either vitiligo, freckles, eye colours yet the features they have still fit in today's view on beauty standards. I decided to set these photographs in the style of an American Yearbook - Which in the films is portrayed for a place of mockery and status but I was trying to show that everyone's beauty should be celebrated!
