Students of second year FDA graphic design were given the brief to design A5 booklet using the interview text and the images of chosen artist . My chosen artist was "Richard Serra" . I analysed Richard Serra’s work very carefully by reading some of his books and visiting his most recent exhibition at Gagosian gallery . For this project I decided to focus more on a book design than typography in general . I made a 3D booklet that can present the artists’ works both inside and between the physical pages of the booklet . I found this project to be a completely new and experimental experience where I forced myself out of my comfort zone, I did this by testing out many ideas but ultimately landing on the unusual 3D booklet .
