Showing raw emotion was the one line brief for this. Easier said than done. However, we rose to the challenge. Utilising unique techniques in format, blending homemade footage with professional shoots, and putting all of my skills to use in making John and Leah as comfortable as possible, we got a glimpse into the real feelings behind the story of John's heart attack, and his remarkable recovery. This elevated the film beyond a standard talking head video, and it was a huge success internally, managing to tap into the meaning behind the work that AstraZeneca do.
