Armand Cordero @armandcordero [Animation direction, 2D animation, design, illustration, mixed media] • Robotica The spoken word poet Musa Okwonga commissioned me to animate Robotica, one of ten poems for his project The King’s Will - As The Power Fails. I used a combination of hand drawn animation, Photoshop and After Effects to visually communicate the poem with a vibrant allusion to ancient mythology, folklore and anthropomorphism. The design and original concept of my animation impressed Musa who then recommended me to work for another poet, Raymond Antrobus.
