This was part of a re-branding group project. The idea being we would choose a brand to develop in a new avenue for a potential line in 2030. One important factor of the project is the final product theme had to be completely different from the current product range the company would put out.
We chose Rolex as our brand due to their very limited product range and our field was worker place burnout; these two lanes worked well together due to people who worked in high paid/ high stress roles would usually own a Rolex watch.
The product I created was a smart wearable ring that acted a social hub in the workplace; meaning users would no longer need to carry business card or ask for Linkedin profiles, the ring contextual understands the relationship through the use of cognitive computing. The ring is 3d printed SLA with a brass/ aluminium bevel, with the screen being made from acrylic. The other features of the ring or on the left hand side.
