Rose - Audio Visual Installation

  • Maisie Campbell
Rose is an audio-visual site-specific installation that focuses on the link between identity and memory loss. The installation was held in a bedroom that was dressed to represent the character Rose who has Fronto temporal dementia that we have created from research into dementia and identity. We built up the life of this character and hope to give the audience an insight into Rose’s life and how dementia has effected her ability to access memories and how it effects her daily life.
Above is the 'Rose' poster that I designed.
Above you can see a panorama of the installation. This is the bedroom of our character 'Rose' where the film is played on an old television.
