Sainsbury's were losing customers to the big discounters. So to plug the hole, we created their most personalised campaign yet, that focused on the quality and provenance of the products that customers bought week in week out. The digitally printed mailings also included recipes and coupons based on the products each customer loved. Once I established the look and feel of the campaign, I worked with photographers and stylists to bring it to life. The art direction wrapped each mailing, setting the scene and helping it to stand out from other Sainsbury's communications.
