Samson and the Christmas Lights

This work was selected to feature in Lürzer's Archive 200 Best Digital Artists Worldwide 2021/22 A Christmas spin on a previous work (Samson and the Philistines). Using the sculpt I made in 2015 as a starting point I created a lighthearted Christmas alternative. The red jumper was sculpted in Zbrush, the Christmas lights were wrapped around the character in Maya, and the furry effect for the jumper was made using Xgen. Lighting, shading and rendering was done in Arnold, post effects and retouching done in Photoshop.
