The film is shot in 360° format. The creative idea was to enrich the story by adding activities happening around the camera.
While Andrey was directing the main scene, my role was to direct all actors around the camera, to encourage the audience to look around and rotate the screen. Apart from the main story we had a subplot, so almost all people in the film are actors, not extras.
The biggest challenge was to direct actors without having a traditional playback, which 360 a camera couldn't provide - you could see a part of a footage, but not the whole picture. So we had to orchestrate the set precisely to make sure that every take was good.
