Sci-Fi-London is the largest genre specific film festival in the world. We were asked to create the visual direction for their ninth annual event, which explored the theme 'what would life be like in the year 2050?'

The promote the 9th annual Sci-Fi-London film festival, the largest independent genre specific festival in the World, I developed the 'Life in 2050' strategy, in close collaboration with Louis Savy, the festival director.

We researched predictions by leading scientists, philosophers, and futurologists (some serious, some outlandish) which became the backbone for the print and digital 'Life in 2050' campaign strategy. Our research into statistics and predictions was visualised in a bespoke typographic / infographic design that was used for all brand and advertise design, including website banners, cinema trailer and marketing.

To attract a new audience we also curated a contemporary art exhibition, held at the Proud Central gallery, London, that also explored the 'Life in 2050' theme. Exhibiting Artists included Universal Everything, Tom Gallant, Alex Trochut, Mario Hugo, MVM, Hort, Dan McPharlin, Daniel K Sparkes, Emiliano Granado, Lee Baker, Panda Yoghurt, Unlimited Design, Graham Carter and more.

A cinema trailer and visual campaign was developed in close collaboration with Future Deluxe, which was played at cinema events throughout London.
