Scottish Green Party – Campaigns

2015 Autumn Conference Exhibitors’ Brochure

As part of the organisation for their upcoming Autumn 2015 conference, the Scottish Green Party required a digital booklet to send out to prospective exhibitors to entice them to book.

The end result was a fully digital brochure complete with form-fillable booking page that could immediately and easily be emailed to the party to make a booking.
Rhys Stenhouse provided us with the very best designed conference leaflet we’ve ever had, with only a minimal design brief. He was unfailingly quick to respond, creative and thoughtful – a pleasure to work with. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

2015 Holyrood Club Campaign Mail Shot

Ahead of the 2016 Holyrood election, the Scottish Green Party required designs for a mailing to send to its members encouraging signup to the Holyrood Club, a monthly donation scheme with a quarterly prize draw, to help raise additional funding for the election campaign.

The brief was to produce a template for a headed letter which would feature the signup ask from party co-convener Patrick Harvie MSP and the lead candidate for 7 Scottish electoral regions, to be sent to members within the corresponding electoral regions; and a signup form which could be easily filled out and posted back to be processed at the party’s head office.

2016 Holyrood Election Materials

As part of the Scottish Green Party’s Holyrood 2016 election campaign, I was tasked with designing a flyer for branches in the Central Scotland region to distribute while leafleting their local areas. The final design needed to match with the party’s national campaign branding, ‘a better Scotland needs a bolder Holyrood’.

2017 Local Authority Election Materials

For the Scottish Greens, local authority elections are the most important of all. Following on from successes in 2016’s Holyrood elections, the party was aiming to make significant gains in the 2017 Scottish local authority election.

I was tasked with producing election materials for the Falkirk branch of the Scottish Greens to use throughout the 2017 election. This took the shape of:

  • An initial 4-page flyer delivered to constituents in the Carse, Kinnaird and Tryst ward early in the year
  • A ‘we missed you’ card to put through letterboxes while canvassing
  • A followup flyer delivered a month before the date of the election
  • Eve of poll cards for the Carse, Kinnaird & Tryst and Bo’ness & Blackness wards, to be delivered by activists in the days before the election
  • A 10-page manifesto for Falkirk Council published on the Falkirk branch website

After the templates for the Falkirk leaflets were shared with other branches, I was also asked to produce additional leaflets for the Argyll & Bute branch to promote their top three candidates.
