Scottish Pioneers and Material Culture

This project was created by myself and other members of the Arts and Heritage Volunteer Group, in collaboration with the Centre for Research Collections at the University of Edinburgh.
I took a lead role in the project, helping to advertise positions for writers and meet with them to deliver a brief. We then allocated articles to individuals and I also picked a piece to write. I then went away and did some research on my object - William Burke's Skeleton, discussing potential ideas with the curator at the Anatomical Museum. I chose a photo to accompany the piece.
I was heavily involved in editing and liaising with the content writers and checking the final copy after the graphic designer had put together a draft version. I then accompanied my team in finding the best place to print a physical version and collect the copies.
